5 of The Best Places in New York City to Photograph (part 1)

1. Empire State Building

Named after New York’s nickname, The Empire State Building is a beautiful place to take photos. It is the tallest building in New York. Considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, the Empire State Building is a magnificent photograph.  Feel free to climb to the top for a peek of the entire city. It’s a must-visit for tourists.

2. The Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is a beautiful photography site, and truly an American Icon. It was a gift from the people of France to the United States and is a symbol of freedom and democracy.

3. Grand Central Terminal

Formerly known, as “The Gateway to The Nation” Grand Central Terminal is very special. Colossal In size, the 49-acre “city within a city” makes an outstanding photograph. If you’re shooting the people, the Roman inspired ramps, the ceilings depicting constellations, or the 60-ft arched windows, you’re in for a treat.

4. Rockefeller Center

Located in the center of Midtown Manhattan, Rockefeller Center or Rockefeller Plaza is a complex of 19 commercial buildings and is New York City’s top tourist attraction. For a brilliant photo of New York City from above, visit the “Top of The Rock” observation desk at Rockefeller Center.

5. Ellis Island Immigration Museum

Ellis Island the symbol of American immigration and overall immigrant experience. The historical gateway for millions of immigrants to the Unites States is truly an emotional and unforgettable part of history. Visit the museum or the immigrant wall of honor for a brilliant photograph.
