Coney Island: Coney Island is located in southern Brooklyn, New York on the Atlantic Ocean. Coney Island was very popular during the first half of the 20th century and was a site of amusement parks and a major resort area. After World War II popularity declined and Coney Island was neglected. Recently the MCU Park was opened and is now home to the Brooklyn Cycles, a minor league baseball team.
