Carnegie Hall: Carnegie Hall is a concert venue in Midtown, Manhattan two blocks south of Central Park on the west side. The building was designed by William Burnet Tuthill and built by Andrew Carnegie in 1891. It is a venue for classical music and popular music and has artistic programming, development, marketing departments, and presents close to 250 performances every season.
