Japan Quake Relief Auction

Charity Auction for the Relief of Japan

Friday, April 15, 5-9pm

Sponsored by artist David Prentice and supported by the Red Cross and Duggal Visual Solutions, Salmagundi will host an auction fundraiser for the victims of the earthquake and Tsunami in Japan.  100% of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross in their relief efforts.

All artists are encouraged to donate works to this event, using the guidelines below:

REQUIREMENTS

1. Up to three (3) works may be submitted by any one artist.

2. Works on paper only are accepted in any medium; pastel, watercolor, oil, etc. Photography is also accepted.

3. Maximum size is 22” x 30.”  Works can be smaller.  No rounds or oval shapes, only rectangular and square works that conform to the size restrictions.

4. Works are to be submitted UNFRAMED only. It is recommended that works be mounted on foam core and wrapped in acetate to ease their handling. Works can be brought in as loose sheets but must be enclosed in a protective folder.  No tubes or rolled work will be accepted.

5. Works can be signed on either the front or the back.

6. Individual artwork labels must be filled out upon submission.

a. Label will include artist contact information and artwork details

b. Label will also include a mini-bio and suggested retail price to assist the auctioneer

7. No reserves as this is for charity.

BETWEEN NOON AND 8PM ON THURSDAY, APRIL 14.
