Digital Film Output & Proofing
Our LVT film recorders are the highest quality photographic film recorder outputs available. Within this process you can take your digitally retouched images and output them onto traditional photographic films up to 8x10 inches, including black and white, chrome and color negative films. It is most commonly used to make negatives for printing large displays murals for trade shows and displays by creating new transparency of your digital images, portfolio and stock images. It can essentially duplicate the sharpness, and tonal subtleties of camera originals. You'll notice all the characteristics of a true photographic look: depth and detail in the shadows, brilliant highlights, perfectly smooth vignettes and color blends, color range from warm to dazzling.
Our proofing machines utilizes advanced Development and Transfer Technology, delivering 400 ppi resolution and the precision of 16.7 million colors with continuous tones. With a high quality Matte receiver material that has been specially designed for proofing, they can be profiled to accurately match analogue proofing and printing systems. This process is most widely used for RGB (Photographic) to CMYK (Off-Set) color space renditions for magazines.
