Scanning and Retouching

Duggal became the first lab to install a drum scanner and the ground-breaking Shima Seiki retouching stations in 1982. Our high resolution scanners are capable of scanning everything from an artist's precious originals to entire archives for museums and libraries. Our expertise in retouching stems from a long tradition of dye and ink retouching directly onto film and prints. With this intuitive sense of craftsmanship our retouchers have naturally progressed into digital retouching while maintaining their unique artistic approach. Our retouched images are found on magazines and spearhead advertising campaigns for major retailers worldwide. We also work closely with individuals and institutions to restore damaged and faded images to their original glory.
