Sony Artisans of Imagery Share Creative Process

Handpicked to represent one of the world’s most respected makers of cameras for professionals and photography enthusiasts, seven photographers propel Sony’s long-lived “make.believe” campaign as Sony Artisans of Imagery.

Sony Artisans Brian Smith, Matthew Jordan Smith, Cristina Mittermeier and David McLain share their creative process in a short video called “Chain Reaction: A Story in Four Images.” Each photographer staged a unique image to be interpreted by the next photographer in line, resulting in a storyboard of creativity from four different points of view. At the end of the video, Brian Smith invites you to use his image as a starting point for your own visual story.

The Duggal team has immense respect for Sony and its Artisans of Imagery. We are proud sponsors of artisan Andy Katz’s current exhibit in New York City, as well as the 2012 American Photo Magazine Gala, where we caught up with several artisans.
