Photographer’s Forum: 34th Annual College & High School Photography Contest

The 34th annual College and High School Photography Contest is under way. This contest has been going on since the 1980’s and continues to get great photographer entrees. Photographer’s Forum Magazine will be giving out cash prizes and many more great incentives. Nikon is the proud sponsor of this annual contest.

Art in Odd Places

These only-in-New York moments brings artwork from 100 artists across the city to 14th street. This year’s art theme is “numbers.” Viewers can see the mathy, statisticsy pieces in the year’s odd works of art. Don’t forget to bring your camera!

Rebirth: Recent Work by Mariko Mori

Japanese artist Mariko Mori’s inspirations of Buddhism, Shintoism, and sci-fi are all combined in his work of art. All three elements are created with in photos, videos and installations. Most of Mori’s light sculptures show an interest in various cultures of Japan and Europe. This is a great exhibition for those of light and imagination.
