When Jeremy Shevett first started coming to Duggal, his father was pushing him in a stroller. Coming full circle, Shevett is now the founder of a new photography destination featuring his parents’ images spanning 30 years of performing arts history.
BroadwayPrints is celebrating its launch with a weeklong opening May 19-25 at 352 Bowery in New York City. The exhibition coincides with the unveiling of the new fine art print website, broadwayprints.com, featuring the work of renowned NYC entertainment photographers Anita and Steve Shevett.
The couple has photographed some of the most iconic stars of our time in candid, including Steve Martin, David Bowie & Iman, Christopher Reeve, Robin Williams and Al Pacino. There are also production photos of Hugh Jackman, Harry Connick Jr. and Gregory Hines. From on stage to backstage and the after party, BroadwayPrints is bringing a new wave of never-before-seen photos to theatre enthusiasts and collectors.
Shevett is proud to continue his family’s legacy, and Duggal Visual Solutions is delighted to be a part of his endeavor. Duggal associate Ruchika Attri consults with Shevett to manage scanning, retouching and printing for BroadwayPrints. Black and white images are printed on archival digital fiber paper and mounted to museum board, while color images are reproduced as glossy HD C-prints. Images are available in three sizes up to 20” by 30”.
A portion of all BroadwayPrints proceeds will be donated to The Actors Fund, a nationwide organization that supports performing arts professionals.
