CEO Michael Duggal Recognized for Community Service at Franklin Luminaire Awards

Since its inception in 1963, Duggal has been not only a leader of technological innovation in customized printing and multimedia solutions, but also a quiet force in developing a sustainable, compassionate business model grounded in giving back.
Michael Duggal, Chief Executive Officer of Duggal Visual Solutions, was recently honored for his leadership in this regard at the annual Franklin Luminaire Awards, where he received the 2017 Zenger Community Service Medal. Hosted by the Idealliance and Printing Industries Alliance and held at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers on October 18th, the event honored Mr. Duggal’s spearheading, nurturing and shepherding of the Duggal’s support of charitable and humanitarian causes. The medal named for John Peter Zenger is emblematic of Mr. Duggal’s commitment to equality and human rights for all.
Duggal Visual Solutions has partnered with a variety of organizations in service work, including the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Fresh Air Fund, and the Veterans Administration Hospital. He formalized and expanded the company’s charitable work with the founding of the Duggal Big Picture Foundation, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit corporation focused on service at the local level with a special interest in education.
In remarks at the ceremony, it was noted that the award is granted to “exceptional” work in the field of community service, noting a quality and commitment that all of the staff at Duggal take great pride in being a part of, especially under the leadership of Michael Duggal.
