Christophe von Hohenberg, famed documentary, portrait and lifestyle photographer, is currently showing a collection of both recognized and previously unseen work at Leonard Tourné Gallery for the month of October. Titled Visionary Coincidence, the show brings his photography together with sculpture and works on paper by Strong-Cuevas.
Leonard Tourné Gallery is located at 46 East 65th Street in Manhattan.
Noted for his work in Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Rolling Stone, among others, von Hohenberg's books, Another Planet: New York Portraits, 1976-1996 and Andy Warhol: The Day the Factory Died, brilliantly chronicle the shadowy, decedent and glamorous scene in New York art and society of the 70s - 90s, with a time capsule tribute to Warhol following his death.
Born in New York, where he still lives, von Hohenberg also resides in Mexico City, absorbed in the passion and vibrancy of an exploding art scene. Duggal is fortunate with our professional relationship and friendship with Christophe, which expressed in his words, has been since "as long as we both can remember."
