More than 1,400 creatives, influencers and entrepreneurs met to connect and collaborate at The Creative Collective NYC’s (TheCCNYC) CultureCon, hosted at the Duggal Greenhouse on Oct. 12.
The one-day conference brought New York’s fastest-growing community dedicated to creatives of color to the Brooklyn venue for an immersive lineup of workshops, breakout sessions, brand popups and presentations. Actress Tracee Ellis Ross delivered the keynote, with other notable appearances by Regina King, Dave East, Quincy, Keke Palmer and others.
“We are not a monolith—we are complex and layered individuals, and I think that CultureCon touches on all of the things that make us who we are,” founder Imani Ellis told Forbes, which tabbed the conference one that every creative should attend in 2019. “What makes us really special is we’re asking people to show up exactly as they are.”
With CultureCon nearly quadrupling in attendance from its 2018 outing, TheCCNYC needed not only an immense space in the Greenhouse, but also a wide variety of graphics to elevate the experience. The Duggal team produced the collective’s branded press wall, directional signage, and lounge area light box. Learn more about this inclusive and inspiring event.
