New York has long been one of the most visually stimulating cities in the world. From the massive advertising in Times Square to the storefronts of Fifth Avenue and entertainment venues across Manhattan, there is so much to take in. And while the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic have been difficult, New Yorkers will tell you that NYC is not over. Rather, it is adapting and evolving. Among the most noticeable additions to the city s aesthetic are custom floor decals for social distancing. Take a look: High Line When the beloved High Line elevated rail trail reopened in Summer 2020, Duggal Visual Solutions produced 1,200 dot floor graphics along with A-frames, double-sided panels and large die cuts placed throughout the park. The semi-permanent dots brought playful pops of color while helping to keep visitors physically distanced. Empire State Building A bird s eye view of the Greater New York Area is all it takes to remember how magical New York City truly is. The Empire State Building welcomes visitors back to its 86th Floor Observatory, now with floor decals by Duggal to lead them through the experience safely and comfortably. Times Center Located inside the New York Times Building, the Times Center is a versatile events venue highlighted by The Hall, a 5,000-square-foot room that is customizable for receptions, banquets and more. Duggal provided consulting and graphics for the venue s post-pandemic reconfiguration. Among many visual elements, floor graphics are seen from the entry to The Hall to the upper level, and even in the green rooms. Retail As a graphics partner to leading brands, Duggal has been designing NYC flagships and stores for decades. We re creating floor decals with custom branding for many of our retail clients as part of our COVID-19 comeback kit. Contact us to learn more.
