Duggal’s Steve Arnesen has been working with David Yurman since 2007, helping the jeweler’s retail and in-store design team create stunning visual displays that attract and engage customers. As 2015 winds down, we take a look back at a couple of our favorite David Yurman projects of the year.
The ‘WOW’ Wall in Saks Fifth Avenue
David Yurman stood front and center in Saks Fifth Avenue, where a 10-foot-tall, custom-fabricated suite showcased Yurman’s finest work against a backdrop illustrating his creative process through overlaid video of sketches and silhouettes. The ‘WOW Wall’ housed clear-screen technology and an elegant oiled walnut trim within a black monolith, exemplifying the brand’s mastery in a museum-esque presentation. It was also the first time that the Yurman brand integrated digital imagery into its repertoire, a formula that was received tremendously well.
Virtual Aquarium
With an eye on extending the new visual direction achieved by the ‘WOW Wall,’ David Yurman called on Duggal to orchestrate production for a new reef-inspired campaign. Arnesen collaborated with the David Yurman team to first secure both video and still imagery for a “virtual aquarium” theme. Then, we created three video walls for David Yurman’s Madison Ave, SoHo and Beverly Hills flagship stores, accompanied by photographic prints that are also featured in other boutiques nationwide. The result was a super-fun summer installation, captured perfectly in time-lapse form on David Yurman’s Instagram.
Duggal is extremely proud of its longstanding relationship with David Yurman. We're excited to see what new ideas 2016 will bring!
