Dior Cruise 2015 Collection Premieres May 7 at the Duggal Greenhouse

The Duggal Greenhouse continues to lure fashion’s finest to the borough of Brooklyn and the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Just two months after Alexander Wang made possibly the boldest move in New York Fashion Week history, Dior has announced that it will show its Cruise 2015 collection at New York’s newest premier venue May 7.

“We wanted the show to feel very New York, and the Navy Yard’s view and space captures the city,” a Dior spokeswoman told WWD.

Guests will be transported across the East River by private ferry service to the Greenhouse door.

The Duggal Greenhouse is a dream come true for creatives and corporate event directors, 35,000 square feet of blank canvas, multi-level open space with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and East River bridges. The space holds up to 3,000 people while still maintaining architectural charm and the latest green technology.

“We are proud to again welcome fashion’s elite to the Duggal Greenhouse and Brooklyn Navy Yard,” said Duggal Greenhouse and Duggal Visual Solutions founder Baldev Duggal. “Together we are establishing Brooklyn as a new and vibrant global fashion capital where art and technology meet at the highest level of creativity.”
