Since 1939, the 92nd Street Y’s Unterberg Poetry Center has served as the epicenter of generation-defining poetry and writing. Its reading series is one of the most respected literary forums in the world, having hosted the likes of Langston Hughes, T.S. Eliot, Marianne Moore, Truman Capote and Robert Frost.
Duggal Visual Solutions is proud to serve as curating partner in the production of “Love the Words,” a 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Unterberg Poetry Center, on display at the Weill Art Gallery through early December.
Duggal associates Steve Arnesen and Agata Renault worked closely with center director Bernard Schwartz to disseminate the Unterberg collection and display many never-before-seen original writings and photographs. Duggal's large format graphics department produced window banners, welcoming visitors while also shielding natural light from the one-of-a-kind documents on display. More than 50 images were encased in fine art frames and gallery mounts by Duggal Framing and Mounting, while Duggal's Custom Fabrication department built a collection of Plexi-top vitrines for Unterberg’s most prized artifacts.
