Duggal is no stranger to taking a client s vision and creating tangible visuals to wow audiences. Most recently we partnered with a prestigious New York hospital to help conceptualise two models of their 2020 conference booth design. Their goal was to elevate their reputation and brand by highlighting their scientific and academic credibility. In doing so, they would change the focus of their booths from a passive stopover to a proactive destination that stands out in a crowded field. Duggal made 3D models from the client s supplied images. Larger elements of the model were printed in ABS plastic (a filament deposit material) through a process called FDM fused deposition modeling. The large arc was printed in sections and glued in post-production, everything else was printed in one piece. As for the more intricate items such as chairs, tv stands etc these were printed on the smaller DLP (digital light projection) printers. The models were then sanded, painted, clear coated and waterslide decals were applied. Finally everything was matte clear coated. See more of Duggal s 3D capabilities here.
