Duggal s New HD Landa S10 Nanographic Printing Press: What the Numbers Mean

The future of printing is here. Duggal Visual Solutions is proud to be the first printing company to premiere the HD Landa S10 Nanographic Printing Press, bringing a world of benefits including innovative packaging, personalization and speed to market, with unparalleled quality, efficiency and sustainability. Let s take a look at the Landa S10 s most impressive features, quantified: 2,400 DPI Resolution In HD Mode, the Landa S10 prints with 2,400 DPI resolution, pushing the boundaries for a printer of its kind to rival the sharpness and color of an offset press with plate-free digital print technology. 3 Picoliter Drop Size In printing, the picoliter is a tiny-yet-telling metric. One picoliter represents a trillionth a liter, or 0.000000000001/liter. This number equates to the size of ink droplets. The smaller the drop size, the sharper the print. The Landa S10 s 3-picoliter drop size borders the lowest of the industry standard range between 2 picoliters and 80 picoliters. 40 Sheet Size / 32 pt. Thickness The press also takes up to 28 x40 sheet size, allowing for larger format pieces than other printers can handle. Additionally, it can accept paper thickness from 2.4 pt. to 32 pt., enabling us to use a wide variety of coated and uncoated off-the-shelf substrates. Our capabilities with window displays, retail displays, museum exhibitions, and long and short runs alike are now more versatile than ever. 5x Production Speed Landa s Nanography process notches breakthrough speed for digital printing at 6,500 sheets per hour. That s more than five times the typical printing speed. With the Landa S10, we can fulfill even more of our customers print and packaging needs, much faster, along with personalization and other special features, said Duggal Visual Solutions CEO Mike Duggal.
