Here we have a gigantic mural at a construction site at Columbus Drive and Marin Boulevard in Jersey City. “Jersey City Welcomes Super Bowl XLVIII,” the mural reads in metallic silver letters with surrounding images of the New York skyline, Vince Lombardi Trophy and NFL logo.
Local artist Abdul Gonsalves, tag name “Paws21,” was commissioned for the piece by the Jersey City Mural Arts program. It took him roughly a week and a half to complete with a mild combination of water-based acrylics and airbrushing, the Jersey Journal reported.
