Loyal customers and curious passersby alike flocked to Lake Grove, NY for the grand opening of Fairway Market’s newest location. A New York treasure for three generations, Fairway has long been considered the grocery store for super-fresh local produce, top quality meats and seafood, organic snacks and specialty imports.
With the new 50,000-square-foot store comes “a beautiful, clean new look.” Fairway store designers, with the help of TPG Architecture and Duggal Visual Solutions, elevated the already fantastic Fairway experience with eye-catching signage, fixtures and graphics. The Lake Grove store features crisp, clean visuals with updated designs and fonts to help shoppers navigate the aisles.
The creative lead on the project was Blaze Gregorio as the Duggal team produced a vast array of unique large format graphics, framing and dimensional signage utilizing a broad range of materials and fabrication techniques.
Large copper Dibond pieces infused with vintage illustrations hang above the produce section, complemented by sepia photographic panels separating each category. Foam-sculpted, hand-painted props marking the espresso bar and bakery are accompanied by framed mirrors, while massive laser-cut letters atop an 80-foot ledge draw eyes to the deli. Duggal printed on everything from corrugated metal for the coffee roasters and butcher’s sections to reclaimed wood for the neon-lit seafood display.
We love food and our friends at Fairway. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again - Fairway truly is “Like No Other Market.”
