This 2013 sculpture installation consists of Gisueppe Penone’s three monumental 30-foot tall bronze trees. Penone’s trees’ with form and interact with the park’s natural habitat. Natural earth like materials that Penone interprets with the parks nature being with show views a round about how art and nature interact.

Julia Goldman: Magazine

Philadelphia native Julia Goldman will be showing off her artwork at the American Contemporary. As a Columbia M.F.A. grad, Goldman offers many series of new paintings of her own. Each image presents picture of women obstructed into additional pictures of women. Most of the art work are paintings with in paintings, to give it a unique look to the views eye. Many of her paintings are of figurative aesthetics of arts such as Milton Avery and Alex Katz.

Ian Davenport: Colorfall

Colorfall is an exhibition of many of Davenport’s recent paining’s. Each painting has its own color, light, movement and surface. Many of the colorfull sequences that follow and inspire Davenport’s framework of his art. As you will see throughout the exhibit paintings of stripes which cascade to a disturbance in their flow. If you’re a fan of color than you would really love to come out and see this exhibit.
