Hotel Indigo: Designing the 'Neighborhood Story'

Hotel Indigo embodies the “Neighborhood Story” in the design of its hotels, inspired by the history and culture of each community. This attention to detail engages the hearts of travelers and is a point of pride for the employees who serve them.

Award-winning architecture and design firms ai3 and Back Lot Productions were selected by Hotel Indigo to design some of the brand’s most prominent southeast U.S. properties. Duggal Visual Solutions partners with ai3, Back Lot and Hotel Indigo, contributing our material consulting and production solutions to their projects.

The Midtown Atlanta Hotel Indigo, conceptualized and designed by Back Lot with guest room design by ai3, was transformed from “tropical” to a more fitting theme honoring the treasured Fox Theatre, less than a block away. Classic concert scenes and vinyl record backdrops welcome guests to Atlanta’s vibrant entertainment district.

Hotel Indigo Nashville, designed by ai3, steps away from “Music City” in an ode to “World Famous Printers Alley,” the old-time printing capital of the world. Visual displays of early printers and printing techniques tell a lesser-known story of Downtown Nashville, where 36 printers and publishers once lined the neighborhood a century ago.

Duggal is proud to be a part of these spectacular renovations, which were featured in Hospitality Design Magazine, What Now Atlanta and The Tennessean.
