With the challenge of creating Colombian-inspired graphics that would grab the attention of customers nationwide and entice them to purchase an unfamiliar Dunkin’ product, Pleasantville, NY-based LAM Design turned to Duggal to replicate the unique foil effects and subtle interplay of opaque matte, white and gloss that their designers had created–properties that are not viewable on a computer screen.
Duggal Packaging Division was able to produce the prototype foil packaging comps that ultimately gained design approval and served as on-press color and finish guidance. The in-house packaging extension of Duggal Visual Solutions used innovative Digital UV print technology and an educated aesthetic to explore various levels of matte and gloss; along with foil effects that eased both design approval and the production process.
