Getting back to business during the coronavirus pandemic entails commitment, communication, and compassion. For businesses in beauty and personal care, creating a safe and reassuring atmosphere is all the more important to help customers feel comfortable returning for their regular appointments. One brand leading the way is Duggal client Naturopathica, which has recently reopened its East Hampton Spa and Healing Center with one of the most thorough health responses we ve seen. We ve put a lot of thought into this because we are a company of healing, so we really want our space to be a sanctuary, and we can t achieve that if people don t feel completely safe and secure, Emma Froelich-Shea, the president of Naturopathica, told the East Hampton Star. The local newspaper reported that Froelich-Shea spent the 10-week shutdown developing safety measures for administering in-spa and at-home massages, facials, herbal remedies and more. In addition to masks and goggles, massage therapists will also wear gloves upon request. Both the therapist and the client will wash their hands prior to treatment, and the upscale spa is operating at 50{a1b66163f1a58119c26981dbd34133115a209dc06f2d1e7802b1355f65adb2e8} capacity, by appointment only, with waiting areas roped off. These are just a few of the new protocols in place. As a company that has been working with top brands, cultural institutions and venues to coordinate the new normal in retail, we re proud to see Naturopathica taking charge in its own right. Our Previous Project with Naturopathica The beauty of giving this Hamptons-born brand was on full display in New York City during the 2019 holiday season, with custom LED-framed windows drawing shoppers into Naturopathica s Chelsea and Madison Avenue locations. Duggal s Steven Arnesen sourced 100{a1b66163f1a58119c26981dbd34133115a209dc06f2d1e7802b1355f65adb2e8} cotton canvas for the window installations, which were designed and assembled impeccably by our team. Organic garland added an extra touch inside the stores.
