Duggal client, Nelson Bakerman, is featured front and center alongside 10 other photographers in BRIC’s Brooklyn Photographs exhibition, a collection of historically significant images chronicling the evolution of Brooklyn’s vibrant neighborhoods and culture.
Six of Bakerman’s black and white photos from the construction of the Barclays Center–instant classics in New York photographic history–show the massive undertaking that brought a world-class arena to the heart of the borough’s downtown business district.
When Bakerman chose Duggal Visual Solutions to produce the pieces for the exhibition, it was actually his first venture into digital imaging from film – an interesting first for a highly successful photographer whose works can be found in the permanent collections of the International Center of Photography (ICP), Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York Historical Society, City of Paris Permanent Collection and many other museums and galleries worldwide.
“It was a fantastic experience working with Duggal,” Bakerman said. “The image quality is incredible, and I am now full-heartedly exploring the digital world.”
Stay tuned for more from Nelson Bakerman on Duggal Connect. In the meantime, you can see his images on his website and visit Brooklyn Photographs at BRIC through Oct. 29, 2017. Click here for details.
