Duggal joins forces with Urban Zen Foundation, Nomad 2 Worlds and the Inter-American Development Bank to “Discover Haiti”
Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Foundation and Nomad 2 Worlds opened an exhibit on June 13th in Washington, D.C. showcasing works of art from Haitian craftsmen and women entitled “Discover Haiti”. The exhibition was hosted at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Cultural Center. It was attended by President Clinton, among other notable figures. Duggal co-sponsored, providing printed materials and banners for the exhibition, which was on view until June 27th, after which it moved to London for the Summer Olympics.
Subsequently, on November 29th and 30th, Nomad Two Worlds and Duggal Visual Solutions came together, with President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Donna Karan and Urban Zen to create an outdoor exhibition at the “Invest in Haiti” forum. The forum, organized by CGI, IDB and the Government of Haiti, attracted hundreds of highly ranked global business leaders and key Haitian business, community and government leaders and was focused on supporting economic development in Haiti and highlighting the profitable business opportunities readily available there.
