NYC Salt Students Help Fuel New Beautify NYC Initiative with Photography

Two new outdoor exhibitions in South Bronx and East New York are uplifting the respective neighborhoods through the artistic talents of New York City’s underserved youth.

NYC Salt, a non-profit visual arts program, has year-round programming showcasing the work of its students throughout the city. The latest exhibitions are part of the new City Cleanup Corps (CCC) and Beautify NYC initiatives launched in 2021 amid the coronavirus pandemic. The CCC aims to “directly create 10,000 jobs and make New York City the cleanest, greenest city in the United States.”
