Pets Welcome: MLB Clubs Expand Fan Cutout Offers to Include Furry Friends

Major League Baseball is filling its ballparks during a strange 60-game season by encouraging fans to send life-sized cutouts of themselves to be placed in seats. The idea must be gaining momentum, because we re now seeing teams invite pets, too. Yes, you can be at a baseball game amid the coronavirus pandemic, with your family and pup (and even your cat) by your side. The Milwaukee Brewers announced they will add a Pets in the Park cutout section to Miller Park, with each cutout costing $50 and a portion of the proceeds benefitting Brewers Community Foundation. The Oakland Athletics sent an email to fans selling pet cutouts for $89 benefitting the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) and the East Bay SPCA. Printed fans and pets in place, MLB is back.
