Typhoon Haiyan is being called the most powerful tropical cyclone ever to make landfall. Packing sustained winds of 195 mph with gusts up to 235 mph, Haiyan tore through the Philippines, leaving a trail of complete devastation. At least 13 million people have been affected. The death toll has already reached 4,200, with 1,186 still missing. 12,501 people were injured, and 3 million are displaced.
