Piaget Unveils New Polo S Line at Duggal Greenhouse

More than 800 guests enjoyed a sophisticated summer night mingling and taking in views of the Manhattan Skyline as Piaget unveiled its latest masterpiece at the Duggal Greenhouse July 14.
The luxury watchmaker and jeweler invited nearly a dozen international celebrities and spokesmodels to walk the red carpet–most notably actor and international brand ambassador, Ryan Reynolds, who led the revealing of the new Piaget Polo S watch collection. Polo S is Piaget’s first all-steel watch, inspired by the classic Piaget Polo first released in 1979 and aimed at inspiring the next generation of “game-changers.” The Polo S ad campaign will feature different ambassadors wearing one of the five watches in the collection, with the tag line, “Play a Different Game.”
"I’ve been wearing this watch for a couple of weeks, and I can tell you my 18-month-old daughter is obsessed with it. She doesn’t know it, but it will be hers someday,” Reynolds said. “There are very few accessories you keep your entire life and yet also have the opportunity to hand down. There’s also something wonderful, really, about being associated with the idea of timelessness. That’s pretty cool.”
Meanwhile, American actor Michael B. Jordan, U.S. brand ambassador for the Polo S, praised the watch’s versatility. “I never know what my day is going to be like—I’m at home and then maybe going to the gym and then throwing on a suit and going out,” Jordan said. “It works for all those moments.”
