Leibovitz is known for her artistic twist that she portrays in all of her celebrity portrait photography. She started her career as a staff photographer at Rolling Stone Magazine in the 1970s. Touring with the Rolling Stones, she developed her trademark photography skills. Her photos are known for their bold use of color and intricate poses. Leibovitz has worked with such celebrities as The Obama Family, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson and Bill Gates just to name a few. In 1991, her photographs were exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, which showed her work from the 1970s-1990s. In 2005, The Brooklyn Museum of Art did an exhibition on Annie Lebovitz entitled A Photographer’s Life, 1990-2005. To this day, Lebovitz is in high demand, and is known around the world for her sensational celebrity photography.
