The crisp, inviting scent of Polo Blue is said to evoke the freedom of the big, blue sky, the energy of open waters and an invigorating blast of fresh air. These elements come to life theatrically in Macy’s Herald Square, where Ralph Lauren has staged the highest resolution LUMIPIXELS™ lightbox available from Duggal Visual Solutions.
With a 6.5mm-pixel pitch, the display brings a burst of light, color and motion through a combination of custom animation, dye-sublimation printing and digital signage. The fixture was fabricated in Duggal’s Brooklyn Navy Yard headquarters, also home to the Duggal InnoLab, makers of LUMIPIXELS™ technology. Duggal associate Tracy Pisarczyk first introduced L’Oreal Group, which owns the Ralph Lauren fragrance portfolio, to LUMIPIXELS™ for a similar display highlighting Armani Acqua di Gio.
