Duggal produced and installed graphics at the Tishman Speyer Gotham Center Tower in Long Island City. The graphics were to advertise for open real estate in the building. Duggal’s Sales Executive, Kelli Poff, worked with Duggal’s Install Project Manager, Hendrik Van Ophermert, and Duggal’s Head Technician at Building 500 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Mike Barra, to create a 646’ wide by 110" tall display. The display was made of clear removable SAV panels and backed with white Mohave material.
The graphics were placed on the 9th floor of the Tishman Speyer Gotham Center Tower so that pedestrians and viewers from the outdoor 7 subway train could easily read the displayed wording. There were a few tricky aspects to the installation of the display; the curved windows of the building were a different size than the straight windows, and the thickness of the sound proof, double pane glass on one portion of the building, altered the perspective of the graphics from the outside.
The Duggal team worked through the problems and created a beautiful and unique advertisement for the Tishman Speyer Gotham Center.
