According to Children’s Rights, there are roughly 400,000 children in foster care in the United States on any given day. Too often due to abuse or neglect, a child entering foster care will likely remain in a non-permanent environment for nearly two years.
With a core mission of finding “forever families” for foster care children, the Heart Gallery of America uses the power of photography to inspire families nationwide to consider adoption. Striking portraits by celebrity and award-winning photographers capture a smile on each child's face, along with a sparkle of infinite possibility in their eyes. Through the network of 120+ Heart Gallery chapters, the photographs are exhibited across the country.
Duggal Visual Solutions is a fervent supporter of the Heart Gallery of America’s mission and a proud partner of our regional chapter, Heart Gallery NYC.
In conjunction with June’s Pride Month, Heart Gallery NYC and You Gotta Believe launched the inaugural PRIDE exhibit in New York's Times Square, the worlds most visited destination with more than 360,000 visitors a day. The 40 beautiful portraits of NYC foster children on display included 20 LGBT youths who, like all children, deserve a permanent home and loving family.
Perhaps the best part about Heart Gallery exhibitions is that each image shares the life and story of a child full of hope, allowing photography to serve its finest purpose – inspiration.
