The SCAR Project is a series of portraits shot by fashion photographer David Jay, showcasing breast cancer survivors between the ages of 18 and 35. The project was done to raise awareness about the thousands of women under the age of 40 that are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
Duggal’s Senior Account Executive, Marina Stark, worked with David Jay to produce his exhibition which featured thirty 40” x 50” large-scale digital c-prints, which were gallery mounted on ¼” non-glare plexi. The show was exhibited at Open-house Gallery on Mulberry Street in New York City from October 14th-17th. All money from the ticket and book sales benefitted LIVESTRONG™ and The SCAR Project.
