Since 2001, Neue Galerie New York has entrusted its unique gallery exhibitions to Duggal Visual Solutions for printing and graphics. In the process, Duggal Project Coordinator Ruchika Attri has built the relationship to bring a combination of standard processes and extended capabilities. The gallery s latest exhibition, Madame d Ora, incorporates canvas prints, light boxes, wallpaper and other adhesive prints to showcase the work of Dora Kallmus, an unusual woman for her time with a spectacular career as one of the leading photographic portraitists of the early 20th century. Neue Galerie explains: This exhibition, the largest museum retrospective on the Austrian photographer to date in the United States, will present the different periods of her life, from her early upbringing as the daughter of Jewish intellectuals in Vienna, to her days as a premier society photographer, through her survival during the Holocaust. Forging a path in a field that was dominated by men, d Ora enjoyed an illustrious 50-year career, from 1907 until 1957. The show will include more than 100 examples of her work, which is distinguished for its extreme elegance, and utter depth and darkness. In addition to prints, Duggal provided professional retouching through its multimedia studio, Duggal Studios. Madame d Ora was also Neue Galerie s first exhibition with glass vitrines, to which we applied adhesive graphics. We were delighted to receive this letter from Neue Galerie Director Ren e Price upon launch of the show: On behalf of the Neue Galerie New York, I wanted to thank you for the excellent work done by Duggal on our new exhibition, Madame d Ora. The show turned out beautifully, and Duggal contributed in a major way through the timely production and installation of superb graphics. Thank you for the kind words, Ren e! It is a pleasure to partner with Neue Galerie, and we encourage all of our readers to visit. Madame d Ora is on display at Neue Galerie until June 8, 2020. Learn more.
