Building on UNIQLO’s global reputation for high-performance fashion, AIRism garments are soft on the skin, cool to the touch and resistant against perspiration. They’re also designed to suit the different needs of men and women. Top tennis star, Novak Djokovic, a UNIQLO Brand Ambassador since 2012, wears AIRism during matches and says the comfort allows him to concentrate on his game.
To convey the cooling effects of AIRism, Duggal Visual Solutions created a branded pinwheel window display with an iridescent effect to draw passersby into UNIQLO’s flagship 5th Avenue and SoHo stores. The installation, which has since been rolled out to all UNIQLO stores, is powered by 120 motors that visually evoke a refreshing breeze on a hot summer day.
