Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Production Manager who thrives at the intersection of client service and technical execution. This role requires exceptional client-facing communication skills paired with strong expertise in print production, high-end retouching workflows, and rigorous quality control standards.

The ideal candidate understands both the creative and production sides of the business — able to translate client objectives into flawless, press-ready deliverables while maintaining confidence, clarity, and professionalism in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Communication

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout production cycles
• Clearly communicate timelines, technical requirements, and deliverable specifications
• Manage expectations while proactively identifying solutions
• Lead production calls and provide status updates with clarity and authority
• Build trusted, long-term client relationships
  
  

Print Production & Technical Oversight

• Oversee print production from concept through final output
• Ensure files meet press specifications (color profiles, bleed, trim, resolution, etc.)
• Manage color accuracy and consistency across substrates and finishes
• Collaborate with retouches, designers, and press teams to ensure seamless execution
• Review proofs and press checks as needed
  
  

Retouching & Image Production Expertise

• Understand high-end retouching workflows and standards
• Evaluate image quality, compositing accuracy, color correction, and finishing
• Provide technical feedback to retouching teams
• Ensure assets are optimized for both print and large-format applications
  
  

Quality Control & Risk Management

• Implement rigorous QC processes before files go to print
• Identify potential production issues early and mitigate risk
• Maintain version control and file organization standards
• Ensure brand consistency across all outputs
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in print production, creative production, or agency production
• Strong understanding of retouching processes and image standards
• Deep knowledge of print specifications, color management, and file prep
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control discipline
• Confident and polished client-facing communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
