The Expressions of Humankind Foundation and Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation remember Dag Hammarskjöld, the Swedish diplomat and Nobel Peace Prize honoree who was tragically killed in a 1961 plane crash, with an outdoor exhibit at a New York City Park named for him.
The exhibit is curated by the Aday.org project. More than 100,000 photographers around the world were challenged to capture the entire spectrum of daily life and emotions on a designated day. Select images were part of the largest global digital exhibition ever staged – shown across 85,733 major digital display screens (including in Times Square) in 22 countries, reaching more than 46 million people.
Duggal Visual Solutions is honored to assist the Expressions of Humankind Foundation in their mission of inspiring creative reflection on humanity. Duggal associates Steve Arnesen and Agata Renault consulted and coordinated outdoor printing, custom framing and installation solutions for the current ‘A Day in the World’ exhibit in NYC’s Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza.
