Adobe Gives Photoshop Express a Makeover for Android KitKat

A revamped version of Adobe’s free Photoshop Express for Android app offers several boosts capitalizing on Android’s new KitKat operating system.

Users should see faster rendering and loading times along with a streamlined interface, Adobe says. The update takes into account the large image files created by newer smartphones, makes common functions (such as cropping) more accessible at the top of the screen and applies slider controls for exposure, contrast, etc.

The new version will also function with Revel, Adobe’s photo syncing and sharing app.

From the blog: “Photoshop Express has consistently received more than four out of five stars, and has sat strong in the top 20 apps on Google Play in the Photography category. This makes us even more excited to get this significant update in the hands of every Android user out there. Download and give it a try today and let us know what you think. We listen very closely when you speak.”
