The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire was one of the deadliest industrial disasters in the history of New York City. It occured on March 25th, 1911 and resulted in the 4th highest deaths from an industrial accident in the U.S. Most of the victims were young recent immigrants (Jewish & Italian) and the factory was located in the Greenwich Village area of New York City.
