Linda Troeller describes her experience at the Chelsea Hotel as “art in the near.” A sort of spiritual journey where “the boundaries between the artist’s life and a separate ‘regular’ existence fade away.”
After spending two decades living among artists, actors, musicians, and other unique individuals, Troeller recently published her own story, woven in words and photographs entitled “Living in the Chelsea Hotel.” Her photographs reveal the contrasting stories that were intertwined amongst this living, breathing, piece of history that is the Chelsea Hotel.
