Gotham Green, Stealth Black and Spotlight White – these bold new colors are just the beginning of the New York Jets' rebrand, their first in more than two decades.
As the Official Visual Communications Partner of the New York Jets, Duggal Visual Solutions got the call to transform the team’s training facility in line with the new look—which fans might not know took a few years to refine.
The facelift at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, N.J., however, happened much faster. With less than a month to prepare, Duggal received a 12-hour overnight window to have new graphics installed in the main staff and player areas while the new uniforms and logo were being unveiled to the public on a Thursday night. The full lineup of adhesive vinyl, acrylic, custom painting, sign foam, sintra and illuminated dimensional logos throughout the building was completed over the weekend to welcome the players when they arrived Monday morning.
Duggal’s Scott May and Rob Krolick, who have worked with the Jets for 30+ and 16+ years, respectively, led the project. Meanwhile, every department in the company had a key role in the win, from file prep and color matching to material selection, production, commercial printing, QC, delivery, documentation and installation.
“Without everyone on the same page, it would have been impossible to succeed,” Krolick said. "Our entire team performed on the highest level and was committed to the goal. We were honored to have the Jets entrust their new brand identity to us."
