Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) bridges the creative industry to a united fight against AIDS. DIFFA raises money and awareness through unique events, such as “Picnic by Design,” a SoHo rooftop dinner in New York City where guests buy an ultimate one-of-a-kind picnic basket created by the Who's Who in design.
Marie Aiello Design Studio’s Great Gatsby-themed picnic was a star, as featured in the BizBash “10 Best Ideas of the Week.” The 1920s classic scene was perfectly set, as if guests had just spread the blanket out in front of their yellow 1929 Duesenberg from the 2013 hit movie. Duggal visual art consultant Giselle Behrens coordinated production of the mirror chrome Dibond automobile display, which required precision router cutting, wind slits and a custom brace for outdoor display.
Duggal congratulates and proudly supports DIFFA. “Picnic by Design” was a hit, and for a great cause.
