Meet the engaging and immersive means of branding: 3D lenticular printing. Whether for packaging, promotional, large-format, or other advertising needs, lenticular 3D prints can bring your imagery to life in a way that truly resonates with consumers.
What Are Lenticular Prints?
Remember those bookmarks you would get in grade school that shifted images based on the angle in which you held them? Or the movie tickets that had Harry Potter performing a different spell when you tilted them from left to right? Both of these are examples of 3D lenticular printing. By specially preparing digital files and printing them onto a lens material made up of lenticules, the image appears to move. This adds animation and interactivity to your product. Perhaps one of the best parts is that you can translate more than one message of your advertisement using only one end piece.
3D Lenticular Printing at Duggal
At Duggal, we offer various types of lenticular print styles:
Transforming prints– Similar to the bookmark and movie ticket examples, where two or more images are used to create a “flip effect” and the images change based on whether the user enacts a small or large hand movement.
Animated prints– Incorporate many sequential images to create the effect of a storyline, giving the image movement and morphing effects when viewed from different angles.
Stereoscopic prints– The same image is manifested from many different angles and then combined to create a 3D effect, with no 3D glasses needed for viewing.
Duggal prides itself on delivering true visual solutions, no matter how complicated your vision for your lenticular print may be. Our artists work directly with you to ensure a clear and accurate understanding of your goals.
