Duggal Visual Solutions, in partnership with Moreal Design, has designed, produced and installed, Through My Window, an exhibit of almost 100 prints done by Ahae.
Ahae is a Korean naturalist photographer who for the past two years has taken approximately one million photographs. The photographs, which have all been taken from one window of a room where he works and lives, depict nature at its most natural state. The photos capture the changing of the seasons, birds and other wildlife, and reminds mankind of their responsibility to preserve our natural habitat.
The exhibit will run from April 29 to May 7, 2011 and is open to the public from 6am to 12am at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The prints will range from 11”x17” to 16 ft. x 32 ft. and the photos are 40”x60”. The prints will be presented on a variety of materials including plexi-mounted frameless photos to duratran lightboxes and a large lightbox at 16 ft. x 32 ft. There will also be a slideshow (26 ft. x 32 ft.) containing approximately 1200 of Ahae’s images.
