Duggal helped designer Tyler Wisler create a sample room for Housing Works: Design on a Dime. Design on a Dime is an interior design benefit event held each year featuring more than 50 of the world’s top interior designers. Each designer creates room vignettes with new merchandise (all donated) and then sold for 50 to 70 percent off retail pricing. All profits from Design on a Dime help Housing Works “Get a Room” for homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Duggal mounted two images that Tyler provided for his vignette. Both images were from LUX Archive, Male Cardinal by Paul Nelson and Aqueous One by Mark Mawson, and were finished with a gallery plexi mount.
