Clarins Displays Innovative Spirit in Azzaro ‘Wanted By Night’ Launch

A brand of French luxury skincare, cosmetics and fragrance giant Clarins Group, Azzaro believes life is “a buzzing playground, an endless summer, an eternal sparkle.” This ethos is apparent not just in Azzaro’s fragrances, but also in its brand story and customer experience.

The Azzaro Wanted collection is described as “the fragrance of a man for whom everything is possible and who succeeds at all he does.” The story continues, “Men envy him and women desire him. He lives his life as he pleases, ready to follow his instinct and change the rules of the game at any moment.” Wanted By Night captures the power of attraction in the late night with a woody, masculine scent inspired by the hedonistic life of founder Loris Azzaro in the 1970s.

After a successful collaboration on Clarins’ first standalone store in the U.S., Clarins Group redialed Duggal’s Brittany Wirtz to consult on what was originally planned to be a print display for Azzaro Wanted By Night in Macy’s Herald Square. A tour of Duggal’s vast production facility and the Duggal Innovation Lab in the Brooklyn Navy Yard drew the Clarins team to a much more enlivening display: a custom, interactive media table to complement the printed pieces. After all, Mr. Azzaro himself stands for being bold, captivating and magnetic – qualities that this interactive installation embodies and upholds.
